i have a hp z210 small form factor workstation but it suddenly turned off and when i turned it back on it kept on trying update than kept freezing on update so i shut it down and power it back up but this time it it has a black screen and a blinking underscore cursor.

Help would be very much needed..

Some updates take much longer than others.  After 30 minutes of not seeing any hard drive activity (blinking green light somewhere on case) the booting into windows is not going to happen.

 

was this update from windows 10 to 11?

a feature update or just a security update?

a driver update like form Nvidia or AMD?

 

After powering on, can you get into the diagnostic BIOS screen by pressings ESC?
