Hello

Actually Im new here .

could any body help me configure my hp compaq dc 7700 desktop for booting via or throgh USB ? 

if what's up needed it's ok to make and for this great forum to be mush more perfect and if there is one , i wold be thankfull if you invited me . 

 

i want to confgure my bios to boot from USB please

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

The Intel Q965 Express chipset dates back to 2007.

 

I don't think USB boot was available then. Trying to jog my memory on this.

 

You would have to enter the BIOS (F10).

 

Select the "Boot" Menu.

 

Then check "Boot Device Priority" to see if USB is an option.

 

BIOS instruction can be reviewed at this site (Link). It looks like USB may be an option.

 

Look in "Storage", "Boot Order".
