Laptop unable to turn on past error screens, can anyone help?

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char failure id indicates the HDD is failing and it needs to be replaced. Is it still under warranry ? If Yes, please call HP for a replacement.

The laptops 5 years old now it's well out of warentee, it's always been fine this is pretty out of the blue. I worried that might be the case but thank you for the quick reply
