HP Slimline Desktop - 450-231d (ENERGY STAR)

My desktop USB and HDMI ports are not working and I check nothing broke inside and there was no signal to the monitor and everything was OK. I cannot enter bios or anything when I press my keyboard please help.

The problem caused when I was updating Windows 10 and the power cord came out and everything was still working till the screen went black and nothing worked please help

Hi @Superplayez 

 

You have no video and lack USB I/O. Losing power during the update may have "bricked" the BIOS. Try removing the CR2032 MB battery to reset CMOS.

 

You have two options:

 

Check eBay or similar sites for a replacement MB. HP does not list the MB for this product at Part Surfer. Check the MB for a part number.

 

Find a local PC Tech who may be able to reprogram the BIOS.
