Hello
nothing is known about your computer, your problem, computer history
Anyway, for many problems of this type, if there is a solution, we do not know it most often, it can be different depending on the computer.
If you are asked for a password, someone has placed it here, unless there is a particular problem!
so if it's not you, who?
We can't tell if you are the real owner, maybe it could be stolen
for various reasons like this, the regulation here, forbids us, to give manipulations of this type!
If you are still under warranty, you must contact the after-sales service.
or you will have to go to a professional

@GG802 -- how can I fix this issue when I don’t have a power on password
Are you saying that just pressing ENTER will work -- because the motherboard does NOT have a non-blank password? Or, are you saying that the motherboard has a password, but you do not know the password?
If you have the original bill-of-sale, and you "registered" your new purchase with HP, HP might be able to confirm that you are the owner, and they could help.
Or, as I previously hinted, seek professional help "outside" of this discussion forum.
