HP Slimline Desktop - 290-a0030

When I plug the PC in to it's power cable, it just blinks and doesn't want to power on, holding the power button or trying to move the cable does nothing, this PC was given to me by someone else. And if you want to see how it blinks when plugged in, here's a video I took. ( Yes it will redirect you to YouTube.) https://youtube.com/shorts/7yHxzhmMb-A?si=RKKsmvj_CGesgZrc

The computer only blinks once, not in a sequence, and only when the cable is inserted, it blinks for a single second, I've left it plugged in for 30 minutes and watched it, and no it doesn't blink multiple times, my best guess would be something's wrong with the PC or power cable, although I don't have the funds to replace either, which is why I came here.

If your computer won't turn on, then you won't be able to run any diagnotics from inside Windows.

Instead, you should read this HP thread about downloading and using the HP UEFI Diagnostic Tool -- as it runs OUTSIDE of Windows and can be used when Windows will not boot:

In addition, in the same thread, there is a linked video that you need to view when your computer will not turn on.

Good Luck
