Tried esq/F2 at power on. Nothing happened. Don’t have extensive knowledge.

Greetings,
Welcome to the forum.
I am not a HP employee.
This symptom can have many different causes.
Try only a mouse connected to the PC and try different USB ports or a different mouse, if possible. This eliminates a peripheral device as a possible cause.
Typical causes are: power supply, motherboard, or a component connected to the motherboard. And, it is possible the monitor may have failed because you have an All In One PC.
The PC may be sending video but you can't see this because the integrated monitor has failed.

Thnx for the response. Mouse and keyboard are wireless. I did change ports with no effect. The screen did come up for a few minutes but went dark shortly after and hasn’t come back.

Hi
You're very welcome.
Try starting the PC with zero peripheral devices (including the mouse and keyboard) connected to the PC. We are trying to see if you can get video.
You may have a USB port or USB MB problem if the PC will display video when no USB devices are connected to the PC.
Continued POST problems when no peripherals are connected to your PC suggests you have a monitor, or motherboard, or power supply, or a component connected directly to the MB problem.
It is tricky to troubleshoot hardware problems in a forum.
Most components are integrated on the MB in your PC.
You could pull and check each memory module, disconnect the HDD and the optical drive.
You would have to try a replacement power supply to see if this is the cause.
Then you work your way down to the display or the MB as the cause.
It may be easier to contact HP Support (Link), if in warranty, or have a local PC tech take a look.
Regards
