Computer fan spins for 3 seconds when powered up - stops and the repeats - no other computer activity - no display

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

You have an unspecified hardware problem if the PC is power cycling and only fans spin.

 

Could be the power supply or the motherboard.

 

Could be a short in a component or a failed component/device connected to the motherboard.

 

Best to have HP Support (Link) or a local tech take a look.
