Preparing Automatic Repair

HP Recommended
HP ENVY DESKTOP 750-624
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I’m having issues starting my pc. When it loads I find a preparing automatic repair loading with the hp logo above. I found on another site that I can run test to find the problem however I ran said test and passed them. After a little loading on the preparing automatic repair screen the words disappear and only the hp logo and a loading circle are left. I have let that load for a day and have tried many restarts but nothing is working. I would really appreciate your help if somebody can find or already has a solution.

Welcome to HP forums, I see that you are getting no boot issues on your desktop.

Have you reset the computer to release excessive static?

If not, follow the below steps:

  1. If Windows is open, click Start and then Shutdown.

If Windows is not open and the computer has power, press and hold the power button on the computer until the computer shuts off.

  2. With the power off, disconnect the power cord from the back of the computer.

  3. With the power off and the power cord disconnected, press the power button on the computer for 5 seconds. The power light indicator on or near the power button might turn on briefly but then go out.

  4. Reconnect the power cord and turn on the power.

While you respond to that, The best way to do that is using the HP Guided Troubleshooter:

CLICK HERE FOR THE STEP BY STEP GUIDE

(simply select your description of the issue from the bottom of the screen to gain access to the next set of steps that should resolve your concern).

FOR DETAILS & FURTHER INSTRUCTIONS, USE THIS LINK: Click here

(By the end of this article all the issues should be resolved)

Let me know how it goes.

If this helps, please mark my post as an accepted solution so that it benefits several others.

Cheers.
