Pro desk 400 g4 wont boot

Pro desk 400 g4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)



New PC out of the box. I ran windows updates, rebooted. no problems. I then ran HP Support Assistant. It found approx 7 to 10 updates. I selected all and clicked download/install. It downloaded and ran a bios update. it powered off and beeped for about 30 seconds and now wont power on.


If you press the power button the light turns green for <1sec but nothing happens.


The warranty status is: Active: Covered under Manufacturer warranty, 10 months remaining.

But the support status is: This product is no longer serviced by HP. You may search for possible solutions on this support website.


Which is very frustrating considering this is a new machine!


any way i can recover the machine or get support on the issue?
