Pavillion 590-p0076
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Good afternoon,

I am looking to download the BIOS update for my HP Pavillion 590-p0076 and I am having a difficult time identifying the ROM family to ensure I download the correct version. Where do I look to find the ROM Family group for my computer?

I appreciate your time and assistance. Thank you.

Hi @RJ_1021

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the BIOS update.

Please try these steps to find the motherboard or system board ID (referred to as the 'ROM Family SSID' in the BIOS update name) -

Press and hold the Ctrl and Alt keys, and then press the S key to open the utility.

HP System Information window

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Please click “Accept as Solution” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
