You've sent me messages about all kinds of laptops, and other desktops whose models are way off from mine, but I recently spoke on the phone w/ one of your techs, and he said the reason my Slimdesk might have not rebooted from a HP software upgrade for Bios is because I may have simply not known to hit the escape key several times after I'd plugged it in. However, I really doubt this will even work since it doesn't even try to boot in the first place when it has power to it! Something about the so-called upgrade really messed it up, and I see HP doesn't want to take responsibility for this fluke, and several techs have tried to put me off by claiming it is a "hardware problem", and thus not something HP even covers!  Needless to say, I AM very put off and very frustrated by these sort of tactics you guys are using to give me what appears to be the "Royal runaround". I've been a loyal HP customer for many, many years, so it's shocking to see this from your staff.             Thanks for all you've been TRYING to do in such an odd way to "help" me.   Yours truly, John M [Personal Information Removed]

Hello, and Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Sorry you had a lousy experience with HP Tech support.

You do realize, "we" here are mostly Volunteers sitting at home on our couches, and offering ideas to fix problems.  Ranting at "us" might make you feel better, but will change little...   😕
