I have an HP Pro 6305 machine, in which it is asking for the boot password, but this password has not been configured. I did the procedures to delete this password, but it was not possible to remove and when I enter 3 times the wrong password I do not get any code. Do you have any solutions to this problem?

Hi, @brunopsl

Below is the link to the service manual for your PC.

http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c03916058

See chapter 11 starting on page 199 for the procedure to clear the BIOS P/W.

Note:  If that doesn't work, then someone set the stringent security option in the BIOS' security menu, and that disables the clear BIOS password jumper option.

You will need a new motherboard if you cannot clear the BIOS P/W using the procedures set forth in the above reference.
