Product: HP Pavilion 23 All in One
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Downloaded windows 10 restore that is on a flashdrive wont boot to a wiped clean hard drive.  I resequenced the boot order as instructed, on the DOS menu for the computer.  The computer will not but from the flash drive but seem to be looking for a disc to boot from.  I have enable the legacy option and boot order but it will not boot.  Is there something I am missing or will this model not boot from a flashdrive?

Hi:

 

I would think that it should boot from a USB flash drive with legacy mode enabled, but since it isn't, I suggest you use the other option using the media creation tool and download the W10 ISO file.

 

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

 

Then use the tool I zipped up and attached below to transfer the ISO file to a DVD.

 

Boot from the DVD to install W10.
