HP Recommended

HP Stream 14”. When plugging the charger in the light on the side turns white. Also, the power light turns white as well when the pushing the power button. When pushing the power button to turn off the light goes away. Still, the screen is black. I do not hear anything that indicates that the laptop is running

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the "Black Screen" issue. 

 

Try connecting the computer to an external monitor. 

 

Please try these steps - HP PCs - Computer Does Not Start
