Start up issue

Pavilion 15-cc109na

At the end of March i purchased a new laptop as above. When starting up instead of my selected desktop picture appearing  i often get certain info which advises me to press enter to proceed.  The info is:- Start up Menu.   F1 - System Information.   F2 - System Diagnostics.    F9 - Boot Device Options.   F10   BIOS Set up.    F11 -System Recovery.    ENTER  Continue  Startup.       For more information please visit - and a web address is given.

The situation has become rather annoying and i don't think it should be occurring. A friend suggests the BIOS system may want looking at.    I would appreciate  any comments.

Your HP computer comes with a HP Warranty.

Scroll down-and-left on this web-page for "Contact HP", to open a claim against the warranty.

HP will offer telephone-based trouble-shooting.

If not successful, they will help you ship your computer to the nearest Authorized HP Service Center, for more trouble-shooting, for repair, or for replacement.

In my experience, "looking at the BIOS" is never on the top of my list of things to check.

The fact that you are seeing "something" indicates that the BIOS is functioning correctly.
