Start-up time changed

HP Recommended
Example: Pavilion TP01-810no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My computer is newly bought just 3 weeks ago. The problem is that the starup time has been utterly extended. It takes about 5 minutes Before I have anything on my screen. This problem has been around since a week ago. From the very begining I had the screen comming up within a minute. I have run all available HP-diagnostics launched with the computer without any progress so PLEASE HELP

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

Have you installed software in the last three weeks?

Check the Startup tab in Task Manager to see how many items are in the list. You will also see the startup impact of each item.

Many of these items can be disabled.

Regards

Thanks for your answer. I have studied the Task manager and it indicated no problems.

After replacing the HP-monitor with a Samsung syncmaster T220 the problem has gone away. So probably there was some Communication trouble between computer and monitor.

Hi,

You're very welcome.

Sounds good.

You never know the cause of a problem until you investigate all options.
