Envy 750-437cb
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My desktop (HP Envy 750) will no longer pass POST and reports that it has lost it's System Board CT Number. This is the same motherboard that was installed at time of purchase and I have not recently upgraded the BIOS. Looking at BIOS, it still has the SKU and Serial Number recorded. I'm not sure where to begin in getting this resolved. I tried removing the CMOS battery, just in case, which did reset the BIOS to default settings, however, it did not resolve the issue.

Greetings,

Welcome to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

I would try a new CR2032 MB battery.

This is an inexpensive troubleshooting option.

That is strange other MB details are intact.

Regards
