I have an HP 290 G2 MT When I press the power button, the device works without showing anything on the screen. In fact, this is not the main problem. The most important thing is that when I press the power button, the device turns on, but the power button does not flash. There is no light in the power button, although the fans are spinning and the device is working. Can anyone help me to solve this problem I want to turn on the light of the power button and the hard drive, please

Hi @akramaden99
Check this Forum thread; same PC with a similar problem.
Sounds like your PC has a corrupted BIOS.
You have no video. I would guess the PC has lost USB function.

hi @Bill_To
Thank you for your response
In fact, I updated the bios before this problem, and the reason was that the device boots up, and when it reaches the Windows logo, it restarts and stops completely, as if it is not connected to electricity. After updating the bios, the same problem occurred, it works until it reaches the Windows logo, restarts and stops. I read on the forum that the reason is the heat of the processor and I cleaned the processor from dust, but the problem now is that even the power button light does not work while the power button works and the fans are all spinning. But if we assume that the problem is destroying the bios, what is the way to restore the bios? What about the power light and the hard drive that doesn't work. Now the device does not light up in the power button, as well as there is no beep .
Thank you again

Hi @akramaden99
My pleasure.
Sorry, can't develop a clear picture of your PC's operational status. Sounds like the PC is out of commission.
Can only suggest contacting HP Support if your PC is in warranty and the PC has no video or USB (mouse/keyboard) function. HP would either replace/reprogram the BIOS chip or replace the MB.
I am not aware of any other way to recover the BIOS without using a USB Serial BIOS programmer to directly program the BIOS chip in this situation.
Or have a local PC Tech take a look. A local PC Tech might be able to reprogram the BIOS chip.
