USB Device does not show as a boot device on my Z210

HP Z210 Workstation

I have an HP Z210 workstation with J51 v01.44 BIOS.

I have set everything in the BIOS so I can boot from a USB thumb drive.

Can not get it to work.

Have verified that the USB thumb drive boots on another PC.  The Thumb drive has

Windows 10 on it and I am trying to install that on a new drive I installed in the Z210 (its a SSD drive).

Do I need to upgrade the BIOS to get this ability?   Or am I being stupid ?

If stupid a series of steps to achieve my goal would be great.

thanks in advance.

Sorry to bump this up but I have the same question. Bios has been upgraded to the latest from the HP web site. Bios is set with USB a my primary boot device. However, it doesn't show up.

Thanks in advance for the help.
