PRODESK 400 G4
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I already had problems with usb ports.
I installed USBlyzer USB sniffer software.
After reboot all USB ports no longer work.
How can I regain control of the PC?

Thanks.

Is "System Restore" enabled on your computer?

If so, you can launch it, to "time-warp" your copy of Windows backwards to a date/time before you installed the software, i.e., when the USB ports were working.

This presumes that your USB mouse is still working.  Correct?

If not, then:

  • power-off your computer
  • power-on your computer, and immediately start tapping the F8 keyboard key (while the motherboard, not Windows, is controlling the USB hardware)
  • from the "System Repair" menu that is displayed, you can launch "System Restore".

To regain control of the PC I had to reinstall windows using the recovery function (F11 key). I had to reinstall all the applications but now everything works.
Thanks for the effort.
