Hi:

You may have to transfer the ISO file you downloaded to a DVD or USB flash drive, but you can't just copy and paste it there.

Most folks use this tool to do that.

Yes, but i already downloaded the iso file and burned it to a disk? Like what do i do from here?

HP Recommended

Yes, but did you burn the ISO file to a disk using the burn ISO option on your DVD burning program, so that it makes the DVD bootable?

That is what you have to do.  You can't just burn the ISO file to a DVD like you would any other file.

If you have done that, then what you need to do in order to install W10 is, with the disk in the PC, you restart the PC, tap the F9 key at the beginning of the HP welcome screen, select the DVD drive from the list, hit the enter key, and watch the screen for further instructions.

Remember that you will lose all of your current programs and files when you install W10, so make sure you have backed any files up that you don't want to lose.

Yes but I don't see the burn ISO file option on my burn programe? Is there an application I can download of the internet for this?
HP Recommended

Yes, use this free program.

I use it all the time.  Just select the Burn ISO option and burn the disk at the slowest speed you can for best results.

Under the More Download Options link, download and install the version without Open Candy.
