Product: HP Pavilion - 15-cs3073cl

Laptop is so far functioning as well as can be expected, but when running the HP hard disk check, this error comes back.  HP hard drive check failure ID: RXMX64-00C03-MFPXGK-61UD13.  HP suggests backing up my data immediately because the hard drive is failing.  If the hard drive is failing, then why is it working, everything is working?  I does take a while upon initial startup, but other wise just fine.  Exactly what does this error ID mean?

You won't get any additional information other than what you already know.

 

Most of that code deciphers your PC's model and serial number and provides a generic statement that you may need to replace the hard drive.

 

Enter the required information at the link below and you will be provided with a pretty useless report of the condition.

 

HP Customer Support - Service Center

 

The drive may last an additional several months, or it may quit the next time you turn on the notebook.
