I paid right at $1000, for my unit on 1-31-2023.. It DIED yesterday. upon taking to a repair shop to have it looked at I was told the unit had a bad mother board and wasn't worth repairing. so I brought it home and here it sets. HP told me the warranty was up on Sept. 29 2023.. how convenient. $1000 to have their computer work 6 months. a bit on the expensive side don't you think. I'm stuck with it I guess. But I am NOT happy with HP.

Hi @wegiea

HP normally provides a one year warranty if the PC was purchased in the US. Warranty terms in other countries may vary.

HP may replace the faulty component if the failure is covered by the warranty.

You should be able to get the warranty termination date resolved by contacting HP Support.

I will notify a HP moderator. Maybe a moderator or a HP Support agent can provide a quick way to directly contact someone at HP.

I bought this from Amazon, a company named 'Computer Upgrade King'.  Ships from 'Lucky Tech LLC, Sold by Lucky Tech LLC.  I really don't know if it's in the U.S. or not since I bought through Amazon.com. It was a HP 2022 Newest Pavillion Desktop, AMD Ryzen 7 5700G, 32GB RAM, 2 TB PCIe SSD, WINDOWS 11 PRO, WI-FI S, BLUETOOTH, 9 USB PORTS, WIRED MOUSE, KEYBOARD COMBO, PRE-BUILT TOWER BUNDLE WITH JAWFOAL. I don't usually buy a computer from internet but I trust Amazon. guess that was a mistake. they simply told me. the warranty on this computer ended sept. 31, 2023. purchase date was Jan 31,2023. I too thought it had a one-year warranty on it. Since being told the warranty expired I am not sure I have any recourse on this problem but I know I feel VERY disappointed in HP. I have always had the highest regard for the Company. Not sure now.
