Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Cannot get past (preparing automatic repair). Has anyone else had this problem?

No need to install Windows 11 just to get past this.

That message about "preparing automatic repair" can be repaired by using the install media for Windows 10.

Look at this thread from Answers.Microsoft  - the second post which is by Sumit (Independent Advisor) on February 23, 2021

https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/stuck-on-preparing-automatic-repair-loop/4fc60...

In there he advises the making of the install media from the Media Creation Tool from Microsoft, which there is a link.  Same thing I was about to do, but he has written all of the steps.  Saves me typing it all out.
