HP Desktop PC - 870-099na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Nephew lost his rag playing a game and in his rage took it out on his PC smh

Uncle Muggins here is fixing it.

I've bought a new case and transferred everything over and got a clean install of Win10 booting with the onboard graphics just fine. I cannot get it to boot with the Graphics card installed.  Although it did show the boot screen briefly a couple of boot attempts. Downloaded the Radeon driver but it won't install without the card in.

Any ideas on how to verify whether this GPU is working or not, it could be the PCIe slot

Bit stuck on how to procede with this

thanks in advance 🙂

Hi:

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to see if you can boot with the graphics card installed by enabling legacy mode in the BIOS, and disabling secure boot.

See this guide for the settings to change.
