HP All-in-One PC 24-dp0000wa (7TT88AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I had a couple bluescreens in the last few days so I installed an optional bios update.

Windows update had a bios update that I installed and now the computer just resets in an infinite loop displaying Bios Update Failed. There are no Bios or any software available on the HP support page for this computer. While looking for something to restore it with I think I found a bios for this motherboard from this other posting https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Boot-and-Lockup/Bios-firmware/td-p/8676206#:~:text=https%3A%2F...

I don't know how or if I can fix this problem.

Hi @Kev049

The 24-Dp0000wa product line lists seven different BIOS updates, each having a unique MB SSID, for this product line. This suggests there are seven different, possible MBs. Do you know your specific MB SSID?

This HP Site for your PC product series lists all PCs in this product line and four MB options. Look in Product Information then Product Specifications. What PC do you have?

Try all BIOS recovery troubleshooting steps at this Site.

You have stated there are no BIOS updates available from HP for your specific product. Well, that's not good.

Some HP PCs can do a BIOS update using a USB drive. There seems to be no BIOS update available for your PC to see if you can create the USB BIOS recovery drive using a different PC. Your PC would need video and USB function.

I have tried this option using a BIOS update for the MonkP MB on a guess you may have this board. The USB recovery option is not available using my PC.

Extremely confusing situation.

Regards
