Won't power up

When plugging in the cord the power button flashes once quickly.  Won't start up lease help..    Model No. 24-b016

@Blakebrownlow -- is it a brand-new computer, with the HP Warranty still valid? If so, HP will repair/replace it.

Otherwise, if it has an external power supply, use a "multimeter" to measure the voltage and amperage output of the power-supply, and compare to the specifications listed on the label on the power-supply.

Can you take the computer to the store where you purchased it, to borrow a power-adapter, and connect it to your computer, to see if replacing the power-adapter fixes the problem?

Otherwise, it's time to take the computer to a qualified computer-technician, for proper trouble-shooting and repair.
