Hi:

You would have to let me know what the issues are.

I looked up the specs for that model PC, and don't see why it can't run W7 64 bit or W10 64 bit.

There are also W7 and W10 drivers for that model on the support page.

The legacy boot is grey out in the bios. It will not recognize the usb or dvd. With either windows 7 or 10. On the boot list when press f12. Thanks in advance

You're very welcome.

There isn't an option in the BIOS to enable legacy mode and disable secure boot?

There should be.

There is a HP document that shows how to enable legacy mode and disable secure boot.

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c03659945

The boot options menu is accessed with F9, not F12, after you press the ESC key when turning on the PC.

Tried the steps already to enable. This is a common issue with this computer. I was reading a thread back in 2017 wasn’t sure if anyone had figures it out

You can disable secure boot but can’t enable legacy. It’s just grey out

Very odd.

Unfortunately I don't have any other ideas to offer.
