Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

 

You can try resetting the BIOS (Link to instructions) to defaults or remove and replace the MB CR2032 battery (let the system sit for about five minutes before reinserting the MB battery) to clear the BIOS. You could also replace the existing battery with a new one if your PC has seen many good years of service.

 

Since I don't know your PC's specific product number it is not possible to give you device specific instructions. The MB battery location is variable.
