Hi:

 

If your PC was one of those where a recent BIOS update caused the BIOS to fail, see this discussion for the possible solution:

 

Your PC has the MonkD motherboard that was affected by the failed BIOS update.

 

Solved: Re: HP BIOS update failed - HP Support Community - 8860247

 

If your PC is working fine, do not update the BIOS or allow Windows update to install the one that is causing the failures.
