envy 27-p011 aio
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm having this issue my envy aio 27-p011 when i depress the power button i get a series of beeps 3 low tone followed by 4 high beep tones x 4 then i get a black screen that says incompatible power source system will shut down,then it does. I purchased a new power adapter from hp to be sure i had the correct one, I searched this issue and tried all the solutions, including making sure the plug was all the way in I also tried getting into set-up, and diagnostics with no success. I'm totally stumped . Can you help.

I understand that your computer keeps shutting down with an error regarding the Power Source. I see that you have already replaced the Power Adapter.

 

I appreciate all your efforts and expertise in diagnosing this issue

 

Since the computer is not even booting up and keeps shutting down, I suggest you contact our Phone Support for Service Options

 

1) Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/ 

2) Click on "Continue as guest". 

3) Enter the serial of your device. You can refer to this Link: hp.care/2bygf7l for help in locating your Serial Number.

4) Select the country from the drop-down. 

5) Click on "Show Options". 

6) Fill the web-form. A case number and phone number will now populate for you.
