Product: HP ProDesk 400 G4 Desktop

Hello,

i have a problem in  HP ProDesk 400 G2 Desktop , black screen and fan fast loud  and I tried to remove RAM and clean the device without any result

When you power-on the computer, it runs the POST (Power On Self Test).

One of the tasks of the POST is to speed-up the RAM to 100% speed (and 100% noise).

If that task does not complete, the fan-speed stays at 100%, as you have observed.

 

So, it could be a failure of the motherboard, such that the POST does not start, or does not complete.
