HP Envy 32 all in one, acquired new in 3/2020. It went black screen 5/2021, out of warranty repaired by HP ($330, a board was replaced). Relatively light home use.
This week, it again failed to start (black screen) after being shut down overnight.
I contacted support, and the reply was ask the community.
So, community, is this typical life expectancy of what I perceived to be a premium product?

@kenben -- view a "Gaussian Distribution" graph: Standard_deviation_diagram-1024x725.png (1024×725) (kanbanize.com)
What is "normal" is the middle of the peak of the graph.
The problem of asking in this discussion forum is that the "audience" probably excludes computer-users who have no problems with their display -- those people are on the right-side "tail" of the distribution.
So, any "feedback" probably is going to be biased to the left-side of the distribution -- the "squeaky wheels".
What would be ideal to answer your question is a report of a survey, as published in a print-magazine such as "Consumer Reports".
