@angelainKY, welcome to the forum.

This error message is telling you that your hard drive has failed.  Your only option is to replace it.  You should buy one the same size or larger than the failed drive.  This will assure that the HP System Recovery media will work properly.

What is the full model of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information.

Please click the Thumbs up + button if I have helped you and click Accept as Solution if your problem is solved.

Agreed.

> This error message is telling you that your hard drive has failed.

Disagree.

It is telling you that the disk-drive is in "imminent-failure" status.

There may insufficient remaining "health" to load Windows from the disk-drive, but there may sufficient remaining "health" to use "disk-cloning" to try to copy the disk-drive, block-for-block, onto a brand-new disk-drive.  If you can do this, even if a few blocks cannot be copied, the "clone" should boot into Windows.  Been there, done that.
