@abimbola2 -- for many computers, exactly ONE "beep" indicates that the POST (Power On Self Test) has completed successfully. At this point, the motherboard tries to load Windows from the disk-drive. If the disk-drive has a problem, either physical ("dead") or logical (messed-up or infected files), then Windows does not load.

 

So, more information please, on what you see.
