Product: pavilion 110-243w
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

last year about three months ago my hard drive got a security freeze lock. after a few months I installed windows 10 next to it, but thses first 69 gb are still locked up. I did it myself. no one else but wife used our computer...she has her own login.

That is not a common issue.

 

I have never experienced that nor have I ever seen it mentioned as an issue in the HP English language forum.

 

What are you using for internet and antivirus protection?

 

If you are not using anything other than Windows Defender, you should probably consider using something more rigorous,  along the lines and reputation of ESET Internet Security.

 

If you want to resolve your issue, consider performing a clean install of Windows 10.
