Hi @JerryBrier

Welcome to the HP Forum.

The TE02-1000i is a new PC. Contact HP Support if your PC is in warranty. It is usually a hardware problem if the PC is having stability issues out of the box.

This problem can be caused by many different things:

1. Faulty components,

2. System file corruption or device driver problems,

3. Component temps,

4. Power delivery problems (power supply or MB voltage problems tied to any component connected to the MB).

Try the following stuff if you like to solve problems:

1. Check your PC's hardware as follows:

Start the PC. Repeatedly tap the "ESC" key.

Select "F2". Run system and component tests. Run extensive tests.

The hardware should ?? be okay if you get a pass when running HP Diagnostics.

2. Open an Admin command prompt as follows:

Open Search then enter "command prompt". Right-click on the search result.

Select "Run as Administrator".

Enter the following commands, one at a time. Wait for each command to complete before running the next command.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth   (note: the PC must be connected to the network when using the DISM command).

Enter the next command to verify system files are okay.
sfc /scannow

Corrupt system files can be eliminated if the PC passes this test.

Verify all drivers are up to date. The graphics card driver is a point of interest in addition to the chipset driver. Your PC is new and should have current device drivers. But check the graphics card drivers.

3. Download and run FurMark to check graphics card temps and stability. Run the graphics card test. FurMark has a CPU burner test. Run this (CPU) test to verify CPU stability.

4. High temps in either test resulting in a freeze would indicate a thermal problem. Normal temps resulting in a system lockup would suggest a power supply or MB problem.

The above assumption (PSU or MB problem) is predicated on the basis your PC's hardware (not including a possible MB problem) is okay, you have no operating system file corruption, device drivers are up to date, and temps when running FurMark are okay.

HP Hardware Diagnostics may not detect all possible hardware problems.
