According to a site specs search your system could have the PS/2 key board or the USB key board. Which are you currently using?  If using the PS/2 then lack site none of the pins are blocked or broken. Check to see if the PS/2 CONNECTION ON THE MOTHERBOARD has not been damaged.

If using the USB key board option, one may have to try a different USP port either at the front of the computer or the rear of the computer. Typically most system have 3-5 USB ports scattered about the system or added externally. Viewing the rear of the computer, the lowest left USB would be considered to be the main connection port. Try an and all ports as if the key board is USB the system should auto detect.
