HP Z820 Base Model Workstation

hello,

i just bought a z820 workstation and its fitted with a 500gb ssd i have windows 10 pro and a quadro k6000 gpu my problem is that i updated my bios to 3.96 version and i did all updates possible to this pc and its quite literally empty and its fitted with a 112gb RAM but im still getting a laggy workstation and a very slow speed too  any ideas on how to fix such issues?

i still have about 300gb unused in the C drive

Can anyone suggest any solution for my pc being very slow and laggy most of the time?

Thank you

Spyware, adware, malware, and all forms of computer viruses are popular slowdown culprits. If you experience sudden crashing or inexplicable processing slowdown, your computer may be the victim of a nasty virus. Before assuming the worst, run an antivirus scan to detect any suspicious activity

hello john,

I did in fact run an antivirus scan full scan actually and found that there was nothing at all in my pc

but im still experiencing a major slowdown in the pc performance any ideas what might be the problem?

i also ran the sfc /scannow cmd prompt in administrator mode and nothing was found to be corrupt.

my ssd is of crucial type 500gb disk.

In addition, i have nothing on the desktop that might slow it down further.
