HP ENVY TE01
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to boot my new computer which is running Windows 10 using the SSD drive from my old dead computer which was running Windows 7.

In the BIOS I have set boot options to Legacy Support enabled, Secure Boot is grayed out and disabled, UEFI boot order has USB Flash Drive/USB Hard Disk at the top, OS Boot manager is second and has a dark triangle to the left, Legacy boot order has USB Flash Drive/USB hard disk at the top and Internal hard drive is second with a dark triangle to the left.

But with my drive plugged into a USB port on the front of the computer it still boots to the internal hard drive.

What have I done wrong or what else do I need to do?

Thanks.

Bob
