IAFTER RESTART NOTICE CAN NOT DETECT FUN FUN NOISY THEN MADE SHUT DOWN LET IT COOL DOWN RESTART WAS DIFFICULT TO GET ON USED F1 BUT NOW NO NOISE OF FUN AND OPERATRS A BIT WARM CAN I GO ON LIKE THIS  AM I ENDANGRING THE CPU OR SOMETHING ELSE NO WCOMPUTER OPERATES SMOOTHLY CAN I KEEP IT ON IF I TURN OFF AFRAID

THAT IT WILL NOT REBOOT NEEW THE COMPUTER URGENTLY FOR SATURDAY WORK AND SERVICE CLOSED TO DAY

Hello;

Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

 

I'm guessing you mean "fan", not "fun" -- and unfortunately, there is simply no way we can either diagnose a failed fan or fix it -- from here.

 

You will have to open the PC case and visually confirm whether or not the fan is spinning.

 

If it is not, that most certainly means it has failed (as all moving parts do, eventually) and you will have to replace it.
