rp5800 (Retail System) fail to boot after KB4074598 (Monthly Rollup)

HP Recommended
BZ776AV
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

After deploying the  February 13, 2018—KB4074598 (Monthly Rollup)

All our rp5800 (Retail System) is failing to boot when a system restart is made!

The screen goes unresponsive (no signal) and no Keyboard command is working (Ctrl+alt+del)

Upgrading bios from:  J20 v02.10  to J20 v02.26 gives no result, still no boot after system restart.

Any help or pointing us in the right direction is welcome, becuse we are running out of options.

Hello @Enmark

Welcome to the HP Support forum.

This is not a security update and if I were you, I would simply skip this update and wait for the next month for the next update (hopefully it will be better). It could be just faulty or something else in your systems may be incompatible with it.

Note about the antivirus Spectre/Meltdown registry "patch" required for a successful update >> https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4074598/windows-7-update-kb4074598
