Product: HP Compaq 8100 Elite Base Model Small Form Factor PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

After some trial and error, it was incorrect RAM !!    that Compaq Elite desktop prefers    10600 to the 10800 speed  .that was in it ( somehow ) when donated to men's shed.   all good now.  strangest screen image I've seen showed up as well before RAM change. see att.
