hp pavilion slimline S5000

the hp slimline desktop I have is running windows 10. The boot up from cold start is slow, yet if I do a restart once its on the bootup is faster. Whay is that?

@neuronetv

Most likely this is due to Fast Startup being enabled -- as it is by default on Win10.

This is a new form of hybrid sleep/hibernation that significantly shortens the reboot time.

When you do a cold boot, that does not use Fast Startup, so it takes longer.
