Solved!

1080 in a 870-099na?

HP Recommended
870-099na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

So i got my pc some years ago now and the R285 was a decent card at the time and has served me well but is now distinctly lacking. i was wandering if anyone knew off hand if i could directly swap in a 1080. My desktop is a 870-099na.

Thanks in advance.

Hello
If it is this model:

500w power supply

It may be insufficient
According to this model, it is possible to switch to a 1080, but it is mentioned 600w power supply, this must be the minimum for this type of card
You should, check the recommendations for the chosen model
It can be complicated to replace the power supply box.
