590-p0054
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Product: HP Pavilion Desktop 590-p0054,

Specs: HP Motherboard model 843B , with a single 8Gb DDR4 Ram stick, Intel Core processor i3-8100 CPU @ 3.60GHz, Intel UHD graphics 630, and Windows 10 Home not sure if 32bit or 64bit.

I tried to put in 2 16Gb DDR4 ram sticks, because I read this PC could support a total of 32Gb of ram.

These 2 new ram sticks were G.Skill Flare X series DDR4 memory XMP. Which I thought would work with the processor and chip-set.

But I'm here so that means it didn't work, I couldn't get these ram sticks to work at all, both, mix match old and new, and just 1 stick of the new.

Would like to know where I went wrong before trying to buy more. Thank you
