HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-xa0014np
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I want to do a memory upgrade on my HP Pavilion All-in-One - 24-xa0014np.

In https://support.hp.com/pt-pt/document/c06460210 one can see that this computer has 8GB of RAM (SDRAM DDR4-2666 de 8 GB (1 x 8 GB)). But in its motherboard page, memory upgrade section https://support.hp.com/pt-pt/document/c06172725 it states that this motherboard only supports PC4-19200 (DDR4-2400) (i.e., 2400 instead of 2666).

So my computer came with SDRAM DDR4-2666 de 8 GB (1 x 8 GB) but its motherboard only supports 2400. Is that it?

Hi:

The Intel processor specs for the processor your notebook has indicates that it uses DDR4-2666 MHz memory, so that is what you should buy.

Intel® Core™ i5-9400T Processor (9M Cache, up to 3.40 GHz)

Since HP installed the correct DDR4-2666 MHz memory the processor needs, the motherboard specifications must be incorrect.

The product specs indicate your PC supports DDR4-2666 MHz.
