HP 32f Display
Microsoft Windows 11

After switching to a new Pavilion AIO running Windows 11 my 2nd monitor is not detected.  It ran fine with the previous Pavilion AIO on Win 10.  HDMI connection. I have tried different leads and different ports on both machines.  Drivers are up to date on the AIO.

HP Driver update does not show option for drivers for Windows 11.

Is there a work around?  The display monitor is only 3 years old.

Your question has been complicated by having a lack of information.

If you wonder why no one has responded to your thread, the answer to that is simple.

You have given us a puzzle in which a number of parts are missing.

1. Identify everything that is HP with a product SKU or product name.

2. Specifically Identify the ports and types of cables you have referred to.

3. Which ports have you connected  the display to the PC

I really don't want to guess what the second, actually working,  display is and how it is connected.

Hi Eric,

1. HP Pavilion 32" All-In-One PC 32-b0390t43Q27AV.  The 2nd monitor is HP 32f serial# [Personal Information Removed].manufactured 10/20.

2. My cables are both HP supplied HDMI cables.  The ports are the HDMI ports in the 2 devices.  The AIO has 3 HDMI ports and the 2nd display/monitor has two.

3. Have tried all variations of these HDMI port connections.  For example, AIO port 1 to display port 1, then port 2; AIO port 2 to display port 1, then port 2 etc.

I have now also bought a new display (Samsung product LS32A700NW32").  I get the same result as above: 'Detect other Display' / 'We didn't find another display'

Have you tried this:

Connect the displays using the HDMI cables.

Right click a blank space on the desktop and select display settings.

You may have to click on "Detect" for the display to become useful.

Hold down the Windows key and then tap the "P" key one time to invoke the optional settings.

Using your mouse, select either Duplicate or Extend, depending on your preference.

Let me know how this worked for you. You might also have to go into your display driver settings.
