Options for this computer [Envy Desktop 810-370st] suggest a 3TB hard drive for second drive. Can I safely install a 4 TB drive? How about a 6TB?

That unit is circa 2014, but here are the posted options having three 3.5" bays
What is currently in the unit? What do you need to accomplish?
In any configuration, the boot drive was an 2.5" SSD and date drive of 3TB, or a RAID 1 or 5 setup
Drives larger than 2TB require simple considerations, as discussed here.
